As the name implies our ground round is made by grinding the meat from the round, or rear leg, of our beef. The cuts that are used to make the ground round (including eye of round, london broil for example) are typically among the leanest parts of any beef animal, and thus the fat content of our ground round is quite low. It's perfect for those who are after a higher protein and lower fat content.
Just like ground beef, ground round is completely versatile and can be used in various recipes. You can use ground round to make taco meat, enchiladas, meatloaves and so much more.
Our cattle are ethically raised on our pastures and are never given grains, hormone implants, or antibiotics. Our meat is carefully cut and packaged by our USDA inspected butcher and we offer frequent pickup location stops in southeastern Idaho and northern Utah.
